Out of respect for the total person, our services address human senses as well as rational minds. They offer opportunities for music and other arts, various postures and movements, silence and the full active participation of the congregation in acts and words that are readily shared. Our services also recognize that people have differing abilities to use these senses and acknowledge that physical limitations are to be considered as worship is planned. There is reverence before God's mystery and majesty, while also a reluctance to use power language, military imagery, or jargon of triumphalism either for God or the church.
Our church family, a small, yet diverse community of believers, invites you to explore with us the meaning, purpose and joy of life that Jesus offers.
Today, under one collective identity, we can enthusiastically lift up that we are a welcoming, justice-minded Christian community. At a time when religion is too often portrayed as narrow-minded and exclusive, we are raising our voices for an alternate vision - one of love and acceptance.
